Our Client is a successful 3 star hotel with 100 rooms based in Watford. They are looking for a ambitious and results focused Sales Manager to join their management team.
As the Sales Manager you main job duties will be:
• To maximise hotel revenue for conferences and events by negotiating contracts, follow up on leads, make sales calls and visit potential clients and maintain client relationships
• Be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the hotel sales department
• Be the Sales Account manager for Companies, agencies, airlines, wholesalers and attend Trade shows/Travel Fairs to develop new business
• Liaise with and produce reports on sales activity for the General Manager and ensure all sales targets are met
• Conduct market analysis and compile monthly sales reports for the General Manager
You should have/be
• Strong Sales Manager preferably with 2 years hotel sales experience
• Confident, well- presented individual who is target driven and results focused
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Computer skills in Word, Excel and Powerpoint and be fully numerate
• Ability to work independently
Logistics:
• £23,000 - £30,000 pa
• 9am – 5.30pm Mon – Fri (flexibility required)
